DISCLAIMER / REFUNDS
On May 15, 2023, the Ventura County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (VCDSA) and the Ventura County Professional Firefighters’ Association (VCPFA) will co-host the Battle of the Badges Charity Golf Tournament. This provides an opportunity for Police and Firefighters to put aside their friendly rivalry and join forces to put on a fun golf tournament that will raise money for their respective Charity Funds.
Given that this is a charity event, no refunds will be given. Please note, however, that your donation is tax-deductible. All proceeds will be donated to the Ventura County Firefighters’ Charity Fund and the Ventura County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association Charitable Trust. Both VCDSA and VCPFA contribute the majority of all donations back to the local community through their charity funds which are supported through events such as this as well as bi-weekly donations by the VCDSA and VCPFA member peace officers and firefighters. A list of charities that we have recently contributed to is available upon request.
This tournament is open to everyone, but the hosts have the right to refuse a registrant. Furthermore, the hosts are not responsible for injury or illness arising out of this golf tournament or associated activities.
If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact us at (805) 639-9218 or info@vcbattleofthebadges.com.
